Mere moments after mentioning "30 years" of democracy, ANC national executive committee (NEC) member Parks Tau was booed by students from different political formations at a heated election debate held at the University of Fort Hare on Wednesday night.
This after Tau said the ANC had made great strides in improving the lives of people in South Africa since 1994.
But he was unfazed by the heckling.
