A fire in the Hangklip area near Pringle Bay remains out of control as firefighting efforts enter the third day.
The fire has moved toward Die Dam and Pearly Beach in the Gansbaai area and is burning out of control, said Overstrand Local Municipality manager Dean O'Neill.
"There are still two areas of concern in the mountain between the R44 and Pringle Bay. On Tuesday night, the fire jumped Hangklip Road again and burned toward the sea," he said.
