The legal team that represented South Africa at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in its genocide case against Israel returned home to a warm hero's welcome on Sunday.

Hundreds of Palestine supporters gathered at OR Tambo International Airport to welcome the team home with loud cheers and happy dances.

Waving South African and Palestinian flags, many carried banners displaying pro-Palestinian messages.
