A Chinese tourist died in Gqeberha after he surfaced, unconscious, from a scuba dive on Sunday morning.
Attempts to resuscitate the 50-year-old tourist were unsuccessful, said National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) Gqeberha spokesperson Justin Erasmus.
Erasmus added that, at 10:45, NSRI Gqeberha duty crew received reports of resuscitation efforts in progress on a man on a dive charter boat.
