KwaZulu-Natal police have launched a manhunt for 13 undocumented foreign nationals who escaped from the Nyoni police station on Tuesday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda stated that the group comprised 60 undocumented foreign nationals who were being processed in preparation for further handling by relevant departments.
“The escapees were among over 60 foreign nationals who were found to be working at South African factories without documentation during a multidisciplinary operation last week,” he added.
“A search for the escapees is under way.”
