A security guard has been killed while another was seriously injured following a robbery at a construction site at the Simunye Secondary School in Westonaria on Thursday.
A group of men in a quantum vehicle allegedly entered the construction site to steal items.
EPR Security company general manager Johan Krogh said: "We got a panic signal at 22:50 from the roaming guards; they were overwhelmed by 10 unknown suspects and were shot at."
