The confession statements allegedly made by Bongani Ntanzi in relation to the murder of former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa could be corroborated by police investigations.

This was the evidence of investigating officer Brigadier Bongani Gininda who testified in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Tuesday, where Ntanzi, Muzi Sibiya, Mthobisi Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa, and Fisokuhle Ntuli are on trial for Meyiwa's murder.

The soccer star was shot and killed while visiting his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo, at her mother's house in Vosloorus on 26 October 2014.
