Western Cape police had their hands full after seven people were killed in shooting and stabbing incidents in parts of Cape Town over the past 24 hours. 

Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said in the latest incident on Saturday morning, two men, 28 and 32, were shot dead in Mountain Road, Overcome Heights, Muizenberg, just after 02:20. 

"Police members attended to the crime scene where they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both victims were declared dead on the scene by medical personnel," said Twigg.
