It's been a year since horror gripped the suburb of Plantation, Boksburg on the East Rand when a gas tanker exploded in the early hours of Christmas Eve, leaving 41 people dead and scores injured.

The scene of the blast is finally being repaired, but the memories of loved ones lost in the blast have not faded.

Mosima Makgato was set to have a traditional wedding on 16 December but her dream died along with her husband-to-be, Lota Johannes Molaudzi.
