The bail application of Ralph Stanfield, his wife, Nicole Johnson, and three others resumed in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

The pair, along with their co-accused - Johannes Abrahams, Denver Booysen and Hussain Brandt - are accused of stealing a BMW 3 series, worth more than R300 000, in a series of events allegedly sparked by Stanfield suspecting an employee of stealing R1 million from the ATMs he and his wife have an interest in.

In a dramatic sequence of events on 24 November 2022, the man alleged that he was on his way to work when he was called and warned not to go because Stanfield was after him.
