Machaka Radebe, 16, was last seen by her brother on Saturday at 12:00 before the siblings took a nap.

The mother of the Free State teenager who was abducted, murdered and then dumped in a veld says she's experienced a mother's worst nightmare.

"I cry every day and ask myself, 'Why? Why my child?' And why was she killed in such a brutal manner?" Selloane Radebe, mother of Machaka Radebe, told News24.

The Bloemfontein teenager was last seen by her brother, 21, on 2 December at 12:00, before they went to take a nap.
