Three people died and 20 others were injured during a multi-vehicle crash on the N14.
Three people died and 20 others were injured during a multi-vehicle crash on the N14, near Krugersdorp, on Thursday afternoon.
Emer-G-Med paramedics, who responded to the scene, said the collision involved light and heavy-duty vehicles.
It said three people were certified dead at the accident scene, while others sustained severe injuries. The victims at the scene received medical treatment before hospitalisation.

One critical victim was airlifted in a Netcare 911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for further care.
"It is unclear what caused the collision, but the South African Police Service is in attendance, and the roadway will remain closed while the necessary investigation is conducted," said Emer-G-Med.
