The two elderly men who were accused of beating a fellow pensioner to death at North West old age home starved themselves to death while in prison, according to sources at the prison they were in.
Jeremiah Mmatli, 75, and Daniel Madumo, 92, were arrested in late May for the murder of 80-year-old Godfrey Thema.
The pair were accused of beating Thema with their crutches after he allegedly bumped into one of them.
