Two people were rescued from Table Mountain over the weekend after they became trapped on a small ledge while abseiling.
Wilderness Search And Rescue (WSAR) Western Cape responded to a call from the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on Saturday evening from hikers who reported being stranded on a small ledge on Window Gorge.
The two, aged 35 and 37, had set out from Kirstenbosch earlier on Saturday morning, hiking up Skeleton Gorge. They intended to return via Window Gorge.
