Six people were killed and three others injured in a shooting on Williams Road in Reiger Park, Boksburg, on Saturday evening.

The death toll from Saturday evening’s shooting in Reiger Park, Boksburg, has risen to six after one of the injured victims died in hospital.

Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi told News24: “It is hectic. Currently six people dead, one died in hospital, and three people still being treated in hospital. It was allegedly a drive-by shooting.”

The scene remains active as emergency services respond to the incident.
