Police confiscated drugs worth R2.6 million.

Pit bulls attacked KwaZulu-Natal police during a bust in Chatsworth on Thursday, where the cops recovered drugs to the value of R2.6 million.

The bust came after police followed intelligence and obtained a warrant to search premises on Oceanview Road for alleged illegal activities.

Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said that "vicious dogs" confronted members of the Provincial Organised Crime Unit, the eThekwini District Intervention Team, and the Economic Infrastructure Task Team when they descended on the alleged clandestine drug lab, which was heavily secured.
