Hundreds of thousands of people joined protests around the world against the conflict in Gaza on Saturday, demanding an end to it as it nears the 100-day mark.
Al Jazeera reported that massive rallies kicked off in world capitals, including London, Paris, Vienna, Berlin and Amman, and more are expected in Washington, DC, and other American cities.
In Cape Town, one of the 66 participating cities, the Palestinian flag whipped in the wind as hundreds of people gathered for the global day of action for Palestine.
