Despite a magistrate calling on a gardener accused of murdering his employer to use legal counsel, the man who allegedly used an axe to kill her employer and her young son, insisted on conducting his own defence.
Pardon Danhire, 37, adamantly told Magistrate D Booysen in the packed Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court that he didn't want a lawyer to represent him, in spite of facing two serious charges.
