A Grade 10 pupil from TM Letlhake Secondary School in Westonaria, in the west of Gauteng, has been suspended after he was caught swinging from a rope swing inside a classroom.

A video of the pupil's antics, which drew howls of laughter from his classmates, went viral recently.

The footage shows the pupil swinging a few times and then falling onto the floor after the rope, which was attached to a beam on the ceiling, snapped.
