Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected across much of the country, including Mpumalanga, Gauteng and North West, according to the South African Weather Service.
Coastal areas in parts of the Northern and Western Cape will experience moderate to strong winds, which may be hazardous for small vessels.
Impact-based warnings
Yellow Level 4 warning: Severe thunderstorms resulting in damaging winds, hail and heavy downpours leading to localised flooding are expected over Mpumalanga Highveld.
