Thunderstorms are forecast for parts of the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.

Thunderstorms are expected in parts of the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
Isolated to scattered rain is also forecast along the west and south-west coasts of the Western Cape.
Impact-based warnings
Yellow Level 1 warning: Damaging winds may lead to localised damage to settlements (formal and informal) and the risk of localised runaway fires over the western interior of the Northern Cape.
In the SAWS colour-coded weather warning system, yellow indicates a moderate risk of impact that requires caution and awareness, while orange indicates that higher-risk impact is expected, requiring increased attention and preparation.
