Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in multiple regions, particularly in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal, according to the South African Weather Service.

Strong winds are anticipated along the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Extreme heat conditions are expected in the Western Cape's interior and western coastal regions.

Yellow Level 1 warning: Severe thunderstorms with possible strong winds, heavy downpours, hail, and excessive lightning are expected over the northern parts of Kwazulu-Natal, resulting in localised flooding of susceptible areas and damage to infrastructure, settlements, property, vehicles, livelihood, and livestock.

Yellow Level 1 warning: Disruptive rainfall leading to localised flooding of roads and settlements and damage to infrastructure is expected over the southern parts of Gauteng as well as the Highveld and escarpment of Mpumalanga.
