Western Cape police, with the help of a local security company, arrested four armed suspects moments after they had robbed a jewellery store on Lady Grey Street in Paarl on Tuesday morning.
Police spokesperson Warrant Joseph Swartbooi said the suspects made off with an undisclosed number of cellphones and jewellery.
"The armed suspects entered the premises, threatened the staff, and locked them in a room. The suspects fled the scene with a consignment of jewellery and valuables," Swartbooi said.
