They are sick and tired of men thinking it is okay to attack women in their own homes, a Cape Town community policing forum (CPF) chairperson said after a woman's body was found stuffed in a freezer last weekend in Samora Machel, near Philippi.

Jacqueline Samuels, chair of the Samora Machel CPF, said the gruesome discovery had sent shockwaves through the community, leaving many residents wanting to "properly deal" with the alleged attacker.

According to Samuels, Busisiwe Mthethwa, 56, and her long-term boyfriend, Brian Miripiri, 45, had a heated argument in the days leading up to her death.
