The police are investigating whether two women accused of abducting three children from three different provinces are part of a syndicate.

On New Year's Day, Mpumalanga police received a tip-off from residents in Ogies about two women who had a child and two babies with them, pretending to be social workers or nurses.

After following up on the information, the police arrested the two women in a shack in Ogies.
