Tributes continue to pour in for renowned author, philanthropist, and activist Zuleikha Mayat, who died on Friday evening.

Mayat, 98, was well known for her much-loved series of recipe books, Indian Delights, with the first edition published in 1961. The book is one of the country's bestsellers, with more than 500 000 copies sold.

She founded the Women's Cultural Group (WCG), which advocated for women's rights and was a cornerstone in challenging societal norms.
