Inter Milan stretched their lead at the top of Serie A to six points, but only after coming from two goals down to beat lowly Pisa 6-2.

Pisa took a shock lead after only 11 minutes thanks to a mistake from Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer and a wonderful piece of improvisation from Stefano Moreo.

Sommer's pass to Piotr Zielinski wrong-footed the midfielder and rolled instead to Moreo, who curled the ball first time up and over the stranded keeper and into an empty net from all of 40 yards out.

In the 23rd minute Pisa doubled their lead when Moreo met Matteo Tramoni's corner at the near post and powerfully headed past Sommer.

Inter were gifted a route back into the match moments after Pisa keeper Simone Scuffet made a superb save to repel Federico Dimarco's volley.

The ball came out to Piotr Zielinski, and when his shot was charged down by Matteo Tramoni the winger was penalised for handball.

After a VAR check confirmed the decision Zielinski confidently dispatched the penalty to halve the deficit.

Inter were level two minutes later when Martinez headed home an inviting cross from Dimarco.

And a crazy first half came to a close with Alessandro Bastoni swinging in another cross and Pio Esposito converting a downward header.

Dimarco hit the fourth in the 82nd minute with a volley which went in off both posts from Marcus Thuram's cross before Ange-Yoan Bonny scored a fine solo goal and Henrikh Mkhitaryan headed home the sixth in stoppage time.
