TV and radio presenter Annabel Giles has died - four months after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, her children have said.

The 64-year-old presented the ITV fashion show Posh Frocks And New Trousers in the 1990s and appeared on Have I Got News For You and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

She was previously married to the musician and record producer Midge Ure, with whom she had a daughter named Molly. She later split from Ure and had a second child named Tedd.

The children have paid tribute to their "incredible mother" who was "truly one of a kind" in a statement on Instagram.

They added that she died at Martlets Hospice in Hove on Monday.

It reads: "In July, Mum was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma, a fast-growing and highly aggressive malignant brain tumour.

"In the four months that followed, she displayed remarkable resilience and strength, despite undergoing brain surgery and countless radiotherapies.

"In her final weeks, she was passionate about raising awareness for Glioblastoma, embodying her lifelong commitment to helping others."

They also described their mother as "an enigma to those privileged to share her life".
