A stolen mini substation recovered in Lenasia South.

A stolen City Power mini substation and electrical cable worth more than R900 000 were found illegally installed at a hardware store in Lenasia South – 10 years after the substation's disappearance.

The branded 11KV mini substation was found at the back of the store and the store owner was arrested.

City Power pounced on the property after they received reports that its properties were in use at the hardware store.
