It was a deadly weekend on Western Cape roads, with 24 lives lost in collisions.
In the first incident on Friday, two adults and four children died in an accident between three vehicles on the R43 near Villiersdorp.
The second accident, also on Friday, occurred on the N1 between the Prince Albert turn-off and Laingsburg. Five people lost their lives and one person was critically injured.
