A truck
driver has been killed in a freak accident in Durban after he was crushed by 20
tonnes of timber.
According to ALS Paramedics Medical Services spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, the driver was killed on Imola Place in Westmead on Thursday morning.
"ALS Paramedics Medical Services arrived on the scene to find total carnage after a horse and trailer [truck] with a full load had attempted to turn, when the container somehow overturned and landed on the cabin, crushing the driver," he said.
