A petrol attendant has been arrested for allegedly using a card-skimming device on unsuspecting motorists.

The 32-year-old man, who works at Shell Ultra City Middelburg, along the N4 in Mpumalanga, was arrested on Monday.

Hawks spokesperson, Captain Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi, said the man allegedly stole more than R400 000 through the card-skimming operation, although the final amount is still being determined.
