A Grade 8 pupil has been stabbed to death in Johannesburg.

A Grade 8 pupil was fatally stabbed in an alleged gangsterism incident at Oakdale Secondary School in Ennerdale, Gauteng on Thursday, according to Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane.
"There are allegations that the stabbing incident was influenced by gangsterism among pupils from different schools in the area," Chiloane said.
Another pupil, in Grade 10, who was also involved in the incident just outside the school premises, was injured and is recovering in hospital.
