Western Cape police are investigating murder and attempted murder cases after two Gugulethu men were shot dead in Heideveld, Cape Town, in the early hours of Saturday after stealing scrap metal.
According to police spokesperson Malcolm Pojie, the incident happened after the two men and an alleged accomplice went to Netreg to steal the scrap metal.
On their way back, seven unknown men, including the gunman, joined them at the railway station and all of them smoke dagga.
