Tributes poured in for a police officer killed during a robbery at a shopping mall in Durban on Sunday.
Sergeant Riyadh Adams was shot dead, allegedly by one of the two armed groups who robbed two jewellery stores at the Pavilion Shopping Centre in Westville.
In a statement, KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said one person entered a shop posing as a customer, and his accomplices joined a few moments later.
