The presence of the late IFP leader Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi was felt when the party delivered its election manifesto at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Sunday.
From T-shirts to berets, vehicle stickers, flags, banners on the stadium tiers, and the presence of Amabutho - Shenge's face was everywhere.
When party president Velenkosini Hlabisa took to the podium to present the party's manifesto, he greeted throngs of IFP supporters with: "Long live the spirit of Shenge, long live!"
