Chancellor House is the former legal office of Nelson Mandela and O.R. Tambo.
The Johannesburg Heritage Foundation believes it has been "ghosted" by the city after expressing concern over the state of the former law offices of Nelson Mandela and O.R. Tambo.
Ghosting is a colloquial term for the sudden end to communication where, like a ghost, the person or entity suddenly disappears.
While the city may not have responded to the foundation, it did respond to queries by News24, stating it was committed to protecting the building and plans were underway to fast-track the premises for office use.
