The water systems in Johannesburg affected by the power outages at Rand Water's Eikenhof pump station are recovering, but it will take time to return to normal.
In the wake of the mass water outage, the City of Johannesburg and its entities, City Power, and Johannesburg Water, called a last-minute press briefing on Wednesday afternoon.
This after two separate outages at the substation that supplies Rand Water's Eikenhof pump station on Sunday and again on Monday.
