The SA Navy has deployed more than 90 members to help search for 6-year-old Joshlin Smith from Saldanha Bay, who disappeared two weeks ago.

On Monday morning, SA Navy spokesperson commander Theo Mabina said the navy members were from the SAS Saldanha training unit.

"The SA Navy is not taking the lead on the investigation. Our members are there to assist the police only," said Mabina.
