The South African Weather Service has warned of extremely high fire danger conditions in four provinces as the heatwave persists.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over the Northern Cape, northern interior of the Western Cape, western half of the Eastern Cape, and Mangaung in the Free State.
