Deputy President Paul Mashatile (Suppled/ GCIS)
South Africa does not regret hauling Israel before an international court over its actions in Gaza, according to Deputy President Paul Mashatile who also believes the "occupiers cannot have more rights than the people who own the land".
Mashatile also admitted that the government is aware that not every citizen, at home and abroad, supports the state's action.
He was answering questions in the National Council of Provinces on Tuesday.
