Johannesburg Public Safety MMC Dr Mgcini Tshwaku has accused Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi of stealing credit for the City's partnership with VumaCam when he announced on Wednesday a partnership that will see 6 945 new CCTV cameras to monitor crime and catch criminals in the province.
Tshwaku, an EFF member of the coalition council that also includes the ANC, told News24 that the VumaCam deal was first brokered by the City of Johannesburg last year.
