Police's Search and Rescue Unit in Limpopo has been searching for a 10-year-old boy who went missing while swimming with friends.
Search and rescue teams have braved a "crocodile-infested river" to search for a 10-year-old boy who went missing on Tuesday while swimming with other boys in Martinique village in Abbotspoort, Limpopo.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the child appears to have been attacked by a crocodile.
"The boys alleged that they saw a crocodile snatching the victim. They then ran to the village and informed the elders. Community members were found gathered at the Palala River," he said.
