Morning fog is expected along the coast, but it will be mostly fine and cool to warm in other parts of the country, according to the South African Weather Service.

Fine and cool temperatures are expected in Gauteng.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Mpumalanga will be partly cloudy, with morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise fine and cold to cool conditions are forecast.

It will, however, be warm in the Lowveld.

Fine and cool to warm temperatures are expected in the North West and Limpopo, but it will be partly cloudy, with morning fog patches along the escarpment.

The Free State will have morning fog patches over the southern and the eastern parts, otherwise fine and cold to cool conditions are forecast.

Morning fog patches are expected over the western and southern parts of the Northern Cape, otherwise fine and cold to cool.

The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate north-westerly, becoming a moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly from the afternoon.

The Western Cape will have morning fog over most parts, except the south-eastern coast, otherwise fine and cold to cool temperatures are forecast.

It will be partly cloudy along the west and south coast.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh south-easterly along the west coast, becoming a light to moderate northerly from the evening.

A moderate to fresh north to north-westerly wind is expected along the south west coast, but a moderate to fresh north-easterly to easterly is forecast along the south coast.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.

Fine and cold to cool conditions are expected in the Eastern Cape, with morning frost and fog in places, but it will be partly cloudy along the coast in the morning, with isolated showers.

The wind along the coast will be light and variable in places in the morning, otherwise a moderate to fresh north-easterly wind is forecast.

The wind along the east coast will be a moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming a north-easterly wind in the evening.

KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog patches over the western interior, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and cool, but cold in places in the west.

Isolated showers and rain are expected along the north coast.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
