The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of severe thunderstorms and heavy downpours expected across parts of the country, with scattered showers and warm temperatures in many provinces.

Impact-based warnings:

 Yellow Level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours are expected in Gauteng, the eastern parts of North West, the western Highveld of Mpumalanga, and the south-western parts of Limpopo. This could lead to flooding of roads, settlements, low-lying areas, and bridges. Excessive lightning and small hail are also possible.
