Two suspects were arrested in Soweto for the murder of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock, who was shot dead outside the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg last week, and are due to appear in court on Wednesday.

Two suspects have been arrested for the murder of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock, Gauteng police said on Monday.

DJ Warras was gunned down outside the Carlton Centre in the Johannesburg CBD last Tuesday.

Gauteng police spokesperson Brigadier Brenda Muridili said the two suspects were initially brought in for questioning by the Serious and Violent Crime Investigations team earlier on Monday.

Detectives apprehended the two suspects at approximately 02:00 at a hostel in Soweto.

“They will be charged with the murder of DJ Warras and will appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 24 December,” said Muridili.
