Wet conditions contitue to dominate with a warning of thunderstorms and heavy rain, hail and excessive lightning issued by the South African Weather Service (SAWS) for at least five provinces.
Impact-based warnings
Yellow level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms leading to flooding of susceptible roads, settlements and low-lying bridges/areas, excessive lightning and large amounts of small hail and/or large hail are expected in places over Gauteng, eastern parts of the Free State and North West, Highveld and Escarpment areas of Mpumalanga, as well as Limpopo excluding the Lowveld.
