Angry protesters hold demonstrations outside the Huguenot Community Hall in Paarl, where Premier Alan Winde will deliver his sixth State of the Province Address.

Just hours before Western Cape Premier Alan Winde was expected to deliver his sixth State of the Province Address (SOPA) on Monday evening, he was greeted by angry residents from the greater Drakenstein area. 

Protesters demanded proper services in the area. They held posters and chanted, "down DA, down".

Pro-Palestine supporters also joined the demonstration.
