News24 | Zaheera Boomgaard found guilty of murdering two 72-year-olds

Zaheera Boomgaard has been found guilty of murdering British national Harry Nathvani and Lynette Mustapha in two separate incidents in 2020.

The 63-year-old Boomgaard was found not guilty of the murder of John Naisby, who was declared dead in 2012, although his body has never been found.

Nathani and Mustapha were both 72 years old, while Naiby was 83.

Boomgaard looked on deadpan as Judge John Holland-Muter handed his judgment down in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Friday morning.

Holland-Muter accepted the State’s evidence that Boomgaard had committed the murders and that they were premeditated.

She was also found guilty on dozens of counts of theft and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
