When Ilebaye Odiniya emerged winner of the 2023 edition of Big Brother Naija All Stars, expectations were high that the reality television star would quickly convert her fame into a visible entertainment career, especially with her status as “GenZ baddie”. However, years after clinching the N120m grand prize and becoming one of the most talked about contestants of the season, the Kogi State-born influencer has remained largely absent from the mainstream entertainment space.

Unlike several past winners of the show who quickly rode the wave of their victory into endorsement deals, media appearances and entertainment projects, Ilebaye has maintained a relatively low public profile. Aside from occasional posts on social media and a few brand related appearances shortly after the show, the reality star has kept away from the spotlight that typically follows winners of the franchise.

One thing that has continued to attract attention though is her occasional reappearance online. Each time the former housemate surfaces on social media, fans often notice a new change in her appearance, ranging from fresh tattoos to cosmetic procedures.

The latest instance occurred earlier this week when a video surfaced online showing the 23-year-old undergoing a Botox procedure and facial treatment. The clip quickly went viral and triggered mixed reactions on social media.

While some fans expressed concern, arguing that she was still too young to undergo such procedures, others speculated that the treatment might be part of efforts to maintain a youthful appearance. A few social media users also suggested she may have understated her age during her time on the show and seem to be trying to keep up.

An Instagram fan, her_majesty02.14 opined, “Because she’s not 23.”

Another Instagram fan wrote, “She doesn’t look 23, she looks 38.”

An X user, Mondaysunday said, “Na so he dey start, next na BBL.”

Another X user, Mimi, explained, “This is why literacy matters. The body naturally produces hyaluronic acid well into adulthood, particularly for individuals under 40. Yet many people rush into cosmetic fillers while claiming to be under 30. At that point, the question becomes simple: is it misinformation, or are they not being truthful about their age?”

On his part, X user Mario advised, “Ilebaye, leave surgery alone, you have been doing too much on your body. A girl who is not up to 25years.”
